FAQs

Where are you based? We are based on the Gold Coast but also offer our wedding services in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast, Tamborine Mountain and in some parts of NSW such as the Tweed Coast.

How would you describe your style? We would describe our style as modern and romantic fused with whimsical, fun and candid moments. We are always on the search for soft, flattering light and have a keen eye for small gestures of love and stylish details.

How would you describe your editing style? Our editing style is clean and timeless with an emphasis on beautiful skin tones with crisp black and white imagery. We avoid heavy filters and steer clear of specific editing trends that will likely be outdated in 5 to 10 years time. We are, however, big on gorgeous skin which means we lightly retouch all close up bridal portraits and final album images. Who doesn’t want that extra glow on their wedding day?!

There's alot to plan and figure out. Can you help? Absolutely! We know that planning a wedding is no easy endeavour. We are here for you on your wedding-planning journey to answer any questions along the way, and offer tips, advice, do's and don'ts. We will also put together a photo/video runsheet so that we are on the same page and can make the most of the light.

Do you offer second photographers and videographers? Yes - second photographers and videographers are available as an "add-on" to all of our photo and video packages and are a great idea for when bride and groom preps are to be covered at the same time or for biggest receptions where more guest coverage is required.

Do you offer wedding albums? Yes! We love love love designing beautiful wedding albums. We believe there's something special about being able to physically hold onto your memories. You choose which photos you'd like in your album via our software and we take care of the layout design. Our standard album size is 10x10" with 20 pages (additional pages and upgrades are available). Parent albums are also available (basically a smaller version of your wedding album which make wonderful gifts for parents).

Do you offer prints? Yes - all of our wedding galleries link to an online gallery store full of print products to highlight your meaningful moments in a tangible way. Our store features a range of professional print products as well as wall art such as frames and canvases.

How many photos will we receive? There are alot of factors that determine how many photos will end up in your final wedding gallery, such as number of family photos, number of guests, bridal party size and time allocated for your location shoot. Generally for a 6hr package we'd end up with approximately 400-500 images, for an 8hr package 600-700 images and for a 10hr package 800-900 images (for a single photographer). Adding a second photographer onto your package is a great way to add more images to your final gallery!

What happens after the wedding? After we process and edit your photos you will be sent a link to a private online gallery where you can view, share and download the photos in both full-size and web-size resolution. You can choose to order prints directly through the gallery (every gallery links to an online print store), or download and print them yourself. Your online gallery will be active for 2 years. It generally takes 4-6 weeks (sometimes sooner!) for your wedding photos to be processed and uploaded to your online gallery and approximately 2-3 months to receive your edited highlight video. 2-3 weeks after you receive your online gallery you will receive a USB with all of your images in both full size and web size resolution. We always recommend backing up your photos onto an external hard drive.

Do you offer RAW/unedited photos and video footage? Unfortunately raw/unedited photos and footage is not available. Our edited work represents our style and giving out unedited images and footage takes away from that. We do, however, offer full ceremony, speeches and first dance footage as an add-on to all video packages.

Do you charge travel fees? Generally, if our shooters are travelling longer than 2 hours or air travel is required then we would charge a travel fee. Please get in touch with us to receive a travel quote to your location.

Can we choose the music for our video? Music, like other artistic creations, is often covered by copyright law. To avoid any copyright issues, you would need to get the license from an authorized source or the artist. Unfortunately, that means the song or track you love and consider personal could not appear in your wedding video. The good news is we have an extensive library of copyright-free music and our editors will carefully select music that pairs with your wedding film and is fully-licensed for sharing.

Do you have back-up cameras? Yes - all shooters have at least two cameras with them at every wedding. We also use cameras that have dual card slots (so two memory cards in each camera) - ensuring extra protection of your images.

Do you have public liability insurance? Yes - we are fully insured.

Can we meet you before the big day? All packages include a pre-wedding zoom chat with us. This is also where we work out a photography/videography runsheet that aligns with your venue scheduling. This is typically done one month before the wedding. Adding a pre-wedding (or engagement shoot) onto your package is another great way to meet and work with your photographer before the big day!

How do we book? To secure your date, a $1000 retainer (for weddings) or $500 retainer (for elopements) and completed wedding collaboration agreement are all it takes to make the date yours! Your balance will be due 14 days before the wedding.
